Job purpose/Performance Profile

The Client Advisor is responsible for all relationship management services for an assigned group of clients and will act as the primary service contact. They will develop long-term account strategies, coordinate and direct client service team members to meet the day-to-day client needs, and providing strategic consulting services to clients by conducting client meetings and presentations. The Client Advisor identifies client objectives and provides recommendations to clients concerning health and welfare benefit plans and the design changes to achieve the objectives.

Duties and responsibilities

* Implement new client launches including carrier involvement, communications campaign, employee concurrence, implementing and abiding by project timeline, communicating program specific to client and information exchange (file transfers, enrollment systems, etc.)
* Provide routine service (development and execution of service schedule, participation reporting, coordinating questions/initiatives with the client and carriers, and conduct surveys)
* Meet with clients according to standardized client meeting schedules - Could be alone or with Client Executive
* Prepare RFP and market all lines of benefits
* Responsible for explaining new benefits offerings and communication strategies to existing clients.
* Update clients on current legislative changes
* Coordinate and compile presentation materials for client presentation meetings and attend client meetings as requested by Business Advantage Supervisor
* Schedule and lead employee enrollment meetings and periodic client visits, requiring driving to client locations off-site


* At least 5 Years directly related insurance experience
