Job purpose/Performance Profile

The client manager assists with implementation, service and retention of full-service employee benefits accounts. This position provides relationship management services for an assigned group of clients. They will be a crucial part of the team and assist in all aspects of the day-to-day servicing of clients, coordinating the renewal and RFP (request for proposal) process as well as coordinating underwriting and marketing efforts.

Duties and responsibilities

* Respond to routine service requests and inquiries. This includes claims, billing questions, eligibility, ID cards, etc.
* Process enrollments, terminations, and changes to employee coverages
* Assis with pre-screening and underwriting by screening and submitting paper and on-line applications, and completing Employer Application for submission
* Complete Renewal tasks for clients
* Put together employee packets and assists with Benefits enrollment meeting
* Assist with COBRA administration when needed
* Process incoming mail, email and hone requests
* Update client on legislative changes and developments





Qualifications

* Basic knowledge of health insurance products, policies and marketing procedures
* Solid knowledge of Windows Office programs (Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* At least one year of customer service related experience
* High School Diploma or GED obtained
* Must have and maintain a state Life & Health License (or obtain within 30 days).
* Strong verbal, and written communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
