Hours: 8: 00 AM to 8: 00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8: 00 AM to 7: 00 PM on Friday and 8: 00 AM to 4: 30 PM on Saturday. Each employee will be expected to work a Saturday rotation (one Saturday of their choice and all employees work the last Saturday of the month), one late night a week with hours of 11: 30 AM to 8: 00 PM and one late night with hours of 10: 30 AM to 7: 00 PM.

Pay: $11.00 / Hr plus monthly bonus based on performance

Job Description

The Collection Agent handles all aspects of consumer calls in a professional and efficient manner via inbound and outbound correspondence for the purpose of completing account inquiries and collecting monies on past due accounts on the behalf of contracted clients. This position will report to the Collection Supervisor.

Requirements

Perform outbound calls for the purpose of collecting debt using an automated / manual dialer system

Answer and properly direct inbound calls for the purpose of collecting debt via an automated/manual dialer system

Provide respectful customer service and collection efforts on the behalf of contracted clients

Assist fellow Collection Representatives in their collection efforts as needed

Advise consumers on the best repayment solutions available using the guidelines set up by our contracted clients

Locate consumers using various methods, loan documents, and other databases when necessary

Adhere to all compliance regulations such as confirming consumer information, including phone number and address

Maintain proper account information for compliance and department efficiency

Achieve monthly goal requirements in the collection of monies

Demonstrate understanding of all federal and state laws with regards to collection policies and procedures

Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the consumer compliant; determine cause of complaint; advise best solution to solve issue; follow up to confirm resolution

Achieve results to contribute to team effort

Perform related duties as required
