Direct Hire Inside Sales Account Manager

We are currently looking to hire multiple Inside Sales Account Managers for a growing company in Kansas City, MO. This Inside Sales positions is a great opportunity with a growing company. Our client specializes in transportation and warehousing services. As an Inside Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for generating new business and maintain existing relationships. You must have a minimum of one year of inside sales experience and a proven track record of brokerage success.

* This is a Direct Hire opportunity with our client!
* Base starting between $40, 000 and $55, 000, depends on experience.
* Unlimited Commission, average commission around six figures.

Responsibilities:

* Search and generate leads focusing on small to medium size businesses
* Quote and negotiate with new and existing clients
* Apply industry knowledge of company service to best meet clients' needs
* Negotiate contract and pricing with carriers
* Plan and coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
* Maintain status updates of client loads
* Track and trace shipment statuses
* Contract new and existing business on company's service offerings
* Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and carriers
* Achieve weekly and monthly revenue and gross profit goals

Qualifications:

* Passion and drive to succeed in sales
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
* Persistent, enthusiastic, and confident
* Must have experience in the Logistics Industry
* Must have at least one year experience in the freight/transportation industry
* Must have at least one year of Inside Sales/Brokerage experience
* Must have proven success in a sales position
