POSITION TITLE: Paralegal / LAA - Patent Prosecution

Job Purpose: One of Seattle's top law firms is seeking a new Paralegal / Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) specializing in Patent Prosecution for their team! Located in the heart of Seattle's Central Business District, walking distance from the ferry terminal, complete with beautiful office space and a solid team of co-workers to welcome you home!

Duties & Responsibilities: The Paralegal / LAA will be joining a high energy, high professionalism team. Primarily responsible for supporting the patent prosecution teams, the Paralegal / LAA will be responsible for US Patent & Trademark Office filings and docket management, as well as preparing and reviewing legal filings and correspondence. The Paralegal / LAA needs to be able to turn on a dime, juggle multiple tasks and successfully handle 4 or 5 timekeepers at a time. This position offers the perfect amount of challenge and growth potential!

Qualifications: Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of intellectual property / patent experience, as well as prior experience with US Patent & Trademark Office filings, docket management and patent prosecution experience. All candidates must be able to type a minimum of 50 WPM (words per minute) and will undergo a type test as part of the interview process.
