Maintenance Area Manager B shift

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and directs maintenance employees, in a safe, quality minded, and productive manner with a sense of urgency to attain production priorities as scheduled.
* Hold daily pre-shift meeting on assigned shift with employees. Visits other pre-shift meetings in the department to provide feedback and support.
* Communicates with maintenance manager and other plant personnel about maintenance concerns, providing status reports as appropriate.
* Assist in the implementations and improvement of effective preventive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
* Conduct performance evaluations on employees that are tied to plant and company goals and provide regular feedback on work performance, utilizing individual corrective action plans if necessary and discusses such action with appropriate personnel.
* Ensure all documentation is maintained, including employee documentation.
* Works with vendors and/or contractors, displaying company's core values.
* Lead the department in design and development of improving methods and equipment through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
* May be required to adjust shifts as necessary.
* Handle confidential information on a regular basis.
* Performs maintenance duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Must be proficient in computer operations
* Will need to have good organizational and managerial skill to attend to multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Able to prepare, read, write and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, requirements and business correspondences.
* Ability to effectively and appropriately present information and respond to questions from various groups.
* Must exhibit high integrity and honesty.
* Apply advanced mathematical concepts as appropriate.
* Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
* Must have good organizational skills.

Education/Experience:

* High School diploma or GED
* Prefer a two year associates degree or higher in a related field.
* Prefer 3 years of supervisory experience
* Knowledge of PLC, ladder logic, robotic interfaces and programming.
* 2 or 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and/or 4 years job related experience.
