As a member of our Shared Services team, our Marketing Manager will be a leader responsible for telling the world (and company) our story. You will also develop and implement the strategic marketing plans for the entire organization and all our business units. This role will generate growth in Allied's sales by targeting the right customer base with a variety of marketing techniques. This includes planning, executing marketing campaigns, recommending appropriate sales and marketing channels and guiding the research and analysis of market data. You will be expected to be our chief advocate for all things marketing, social media, digital, print and their benefits and impact to the bottom line. Additionally, you will be charged with crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing content to drive new business. In addition, the Marketing Manager will perform data analytics studies and make recommendations on findings.

Primary Responsibilities

* Plan marketing and branding objectives.
* Prepare marketing strategies alongside other company executives and staff.
* Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
* Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and all marketing materials.
* Design print ads and publications.
* Ensure brand messages are consistent.
* Maintain and continue to build web presence through website, career site, and SEO.
* Gather and analyze customer insight.
* Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share.
* Engage consumers on social media.
* Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms.
* Engage other organizations within the community.
* Collaborate with sales and sourcing to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities.
* Develop and lead a marketing team that will develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader.



Requirements

* BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
* Proven experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
* Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
* Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
* Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics)
* Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
* Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
* Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
* Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
