* Manage crews of 10 - 15 hourly employees. Indirectly responsible for managing up to 40-50 employees at any given time.
* Plan daily shift activities, determining manpower requirements to meet/exceed goals. Schedule hourly employees.
* Conduct annual performance reviews with hourly employees. Mentor subordinates
* Set & communicate goal/objectives for crew. Issue instruction and directions.
* Train Management and hourly Employees on equipment; equipment operation and process.
* Accountable for continuous improvement of plant performance, safety, environmental and product quality objectives

* Personal computer skills
* Lifting: waist, shoulder, above head: Up to 50 lbs to shoulder height occasionally
* Physical mobility: extensive walking, climbing, stairs, kneeling, stooping, sitting. (All of these up to 100% of working hours.)
* Standing for extended periods of time.
* Physical dexterity: Telephone, fax, computer, electronic equipment, tools, machinery.
* Sensory requirements: hearing, listening, smelling, touching, speaking, tasting, seeing, distinguishing colors. (All of these up to 100% of working hours.)
* Ability to endure extreme temp conditions, heat and/or cold.

Required Experience

* Associate's Degree with concentration in manufacturing preferred. (Equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment or a similar environment will be considered.)
* Experience with SEMS (Asset Mgmt SW), Process Safety Management and ERP/SAP preferred.
