Job Title: Project Manager



Job Summary: The project manager will be responsible for providing Building, Fire and Life Safety Code consulting, conducting fire and life safety surveys and inspections, and completing plan review of specifications and drawings.



Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide expert advice and guidance to contractors, building owners, engineers and architects.
* Ensure the most up to date fire prevention concept and practices are incorporated into design and construction facilities.
* Maintain and develop new business
* Create proposals
* Project financial management and revenue projections
* Knowledge of ICC and NFPA code & standards and the ability to interpret them to clients and team members.
* Will continuously gain knowledge and communicate fire protection engineering and/or consulting, building code plan reviews.
* Will complete client inspections.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or other construction related field.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering preferred
* 8+ years of experience in fire protection engineering and/or consulting, building code plan review, and inspections.
* P.E. License (or the ability to obtain it), preferred.
* Experience with Fire modeling (FDS) and times egress analysis is a plus.
* 10%-25% travel
