The Manager is responsible for managing the Program Management department within the Aviation division. This person will work on a variety of high level projects within the department along with managing a team consisting of Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, Point of Sale Coordinator, Project Managers and Quality Assurance Analysts. Responsibilities include:

  •          Preparing and managing project plans and schedules
  •          Working with team to ensure project target completion dates are met
  •          Understanding issues and developing feasible and efficient solutions
  •          Learning and understanding the global business aviation industry
  •          Learning and understanding card processing in business aviation (I.e. general aviation cards, bank cards)
  •          Planning, prioritizing, scheduling and managing software releases
  •          Interacting with users, program developers and Multi Service clients
  •          Manage performance and productivity of the team while addressing any employee relations issues
  •          Define goals and vision for the department
  •          Actively participate in strategic planning for the business line
  •          Identify opportunities to control and/or reduce operational expenses and implement necessary processes or procedures to achieve efficiencies.
  •          Work with team members to identify opportunities for professional development and growth within the team
  •          Ensure that work is prioritized appropriately in order to meet both long and short-term goals
  •          Other duties as assigned

We are looking for the following in the ideal candidate:

  •          At least 5 years of technical project management and leading multi-departmental projects experience
  •          Client management experience
  •          Process improvement experience
  •          Demonstrated progressive career growth
  •          Strong experience in management of staff of at least 6 people
  •          Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills
  •          Excellent written and oral communication skills and dynamic interpersonal skills
  •          Strong prioritization, organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines
  •          Effectively work in both team and independent environment
  •          Excellent attention to detail
  •          Highly motivated with a strong capacity to learn and understand logical and technical issues are required
  •          Minimal travel and some overtime required
  •          Business aviation experience a plus
  •          Transaction processing experience a plus
